We are situated across from the beach, 13kms south of Yeppoon, 6 kms north of Emu Park and approximately 35 minutes from Rockhampton. With its own wildlife, including peacocks, bush turkeys and the occassional visit from an emu or two, Island View is far enough out of town to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the bush and yet still be handy to excellent shopping facilities, tourist attractions and delightful picnic areas. Popular restaurants, hotels and clubs are also conveniently located a short drive away. Our beautiful sandy beach, where the Pacific Ocean caresses the Capricorn Coast here at Kinka, lends itself to good fishing, water sports, long walks and other beach activities. Island View is located only 6 kms south of Rosslyn Bay Boat Harbour which is the gateway to Great Keppel Island, the Barrier Reef and surrounding semi-tropical islands. Location:

We are situated on the esplanade overlooking the water, 13kms south of Yeppoon, 6 kms north of Emu Park and approximately 35 minutes from Rockhampton, known as the Beef Capital of Australia. If coming from the north, head towards Yeppoon to the Information centre and turn right and come down the beaches to us. If coming from the south, when in Rockhampton turn right at the Mcdonalds into Fitzroy Street until the end of the bridge where you will need to turn right again. You will now be on the Scenic Loop heading to Emu Park, where you will turn left heading back towards Yeppoon, once you have travelled approximately 5km on this road, turn right towards the Capricorn Beaches. We are 2km up the road on the esplanade looking at the water.
